The first time we saw
Bucky, on a holiday in
New Zealand
, he was already 6 years old, and could
not help being impressed at his quality,
soundness and condition. When we came to
know his breeding, we knew in an instant
that we wanted to introduce his lines to
our prefix. We were lucky enough that
his owner, Mrs Susie Park, agreed to
allow Bucky to come to
Australia
, with the aim of obtaining his
Australian Championship, which even at
the age of 6, he did in under 9 months.

Whilst here he was used at stud on a
restricted basis, but through Bucky, we
were lucky enough to introduce much
sought after qualities to our prefix,
which live on through his now famous son
in Australian Grand & New Zealand
Champion Seighford Budmarshs Heir CDX
(Swampy).
